HOUSTON — If you’re “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs” or love to add a little “Snap, Crackle and Pop” to your morning routine, you’re not alone.
Fifty-percent of Americans start their day with a bowl of cereal, according to mobile-cuisine.com. (It’s also a popular dinner option when you just don’t feel like cooking)
The cereal aisle is spilling over with choices to tempt your sweet tooth. In fact, the cereal industry pours on more than 800 million pounds of sugar every year.
J.J. Watt tackled the question of the day: “Rank your top 5 cereals” and it turned out to be a lot tougher than he expected.
“Been sitting here for 20 minutes having a full blown debate with myself,” Watt tweeted. “I start to think “well that is obviously in the top 5” but then as I go, I have 9 “for sure top 5’s.”
Hours later, Watt threw in the towel and tweeted his top 11. No worries. This is a no judgment zone, J.J.
The Houston Texans, Steven Tyler, Hailee Steinfeld, even NASA chimed in.
But our favorite tweet came from Luke Skywalker (aka Mark Hamill): “My parents wouldn’t allow pre-sweetened cereal in our house, so I once accepted a sleepover invitation as the only way I’d ever be able to have #FrootLoops for breakfast. #TrueStory.”
Another week down means another week closer to the return of the NFL – but not all players are thinking that way.
Last week, multiple NFL stars jetted off to tropical locales. Both Jarvis Landry and Kirk Cousins headed to Miami, Florida, while Brandin Cooks posted from Thailand and Jalen Ramsey met some real life Jaguars in Belize.
On Monday morning, Russell Wilson joined the ranks of the traveling NFLers when he and wife Ciara announced their trip to Brazil.
